We are happy to announce that there is funding available to support the design and implementation of drought resilience and innovative water conservation projects with agricultural water users and water managers. The goals of this effort are to advance strategies and on the ground projects for irrigated agriculture to adapt to reduced water supplies. Funding will support technical and financial assistance for early-stage projects that have the potential to reduce water use, improve water management, and/or demonstrate drought resilience and adaptation.
We want to help develop and test concepts for long term drought resilience and strongly encourage you to reach out to us early so that we can work with interested parties to develop their ideas. Our goal is to implement these projects for the 2023 season.
