We want to fund your ideas for long term drought resilience. In 2026, we are supporting over 75 projects around the state. Our long-term goal is to identify practices that keep farms and ranches profitable during drought, and scale-up those projects.

CAWA is taking lessons learned from our Drought Resiliency Projects to create "Blueprints."
Each Blueprint outlines the challenges and opportunities for the different types of projects we've funded, the potential to scale-up successful projects, and what support might be needed.
Our first blueprint on Irrigation Scheduling is now available with more to come later this year.
